Bio Jack
Influenced by the early recordings of Marcel Dadi, Jack became an expert in the style of picking, and wrote a beginner’s guitar method, The ABC of Folk Guitar.
Over the years, he has worked with numerous artists from a wide range of musical genres, including French chanson (Gilbert Laffaille, Jean Humenry, Marie-José Vilar), pop music (Philippe Chatel, Jean Schultheis, Véronique Rivière), musical theatre (Émilie Jolie at the Casino de Paris), folk and rock (Vincent Absil, former member of Imago), and world music (Djamel Allam).
He was an invited guest for the Singapore International Guitar Festival, with Autour de la Guitare, organised by Jean-Félix Lalanne.
He has also played as a member of bands (Alaska, Gwendal), and as an accompanist (Nicolas de Angelis, Maxime Le Forestier, Melissa Mars).
In 1980, with the guitarist Michel Haumont, Jack played the first half for the Ralph McTell concerts during the latter’s two month tour of England.
In 2005, he toured throughout France and internationally with Lara Fabian on her Un Regard Neuf tour. During this tour, he accompanied Lara Fabian for a duet with Phil Collins in a performance recorded for Swiss television.
In 2015 he participated in the French tour of Robben Ford, Larry Carlton, and Christopher Cross organised by Jean-Felix Lalanne, playing in all the Zeniths of France.

Our duo incudes French, English and Spanish repertoire as well sephardic, yiddish, celtic and kabyl music. Jazz, folk and our original songs make up a large part of our repertoire.
Jack Ada est un excellent guitariste et compositeur qui a travaillé avec Michel Haumont, Gilbert Laffaille, Maxime Le Forestier, Phil Collins, Lara Fabian, Jean Humenry et Jean Felix Lalanne pour 'Autour de la Guitare'.
Notre duo comprend un répertoire en français, anglais, espagnol, yiddish... A l'honneur : Boris Vian, Nino Ferrer, Idir et la musique celtique, folk et surtout nos compositions originales.
